The Fall Roan Mountain Naturalists Rally will return to its usual schedule this year with one exception: Dinners will not be available on Friday and Saturday nights due to Covid-19. Evening presentations will take place in the conference center at Roan Mountain State Park and field trips will take place as usual. Note: Due to an illness in his family, Kelby Ouchley will be unable to participate in the Fall Rally. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Marty Silver, Ranger/Naturalist at Warrior Path State Park has graciously provided to provide the Friday Evening program. His topic will be “Wildlife Tracking” which will include a small wild animal “guest speaker,” and some discussion on tracking as a conservation/resource protection tool, and a tool for nature education.
