Join Cade Campbell in search of mammals around the balds and spruce-fir forest of Roan Mountain. Unusual, high-elevation species such as Red Squirrel, Appalachian Cottontail and Rock Shrew will likely be gathering and feeding on the abundant fruits, seeds, insects and other bounty of the mountain.

Participants will get glimpses of some of the Blue Ridge’s most exciting wildlife and their signs. Bring binoculars (if you would like to), and a desire to search for our reclusive, montane creatures!
