There are many rare native plants on top of the mountain. Many of these plants were left on top on the mountain when the glaciers receded 10,000 years ago.

The Adventure will go through natural rhododendron and Frasier Fir forest at the 6,000 ft. elevation to the Roan High Bluff overlook. This is a great place to breathe in the rare air.
